Finally got around to taking pics of my collection, it's humble but I'm very proud of it.

The very first one that started ALL my collecting and hobbies was this sword - my wife knew I was interested and gave this one a "try" as a Christmas gift #mindblown.


Point bomb to anyone who can tell me what movie this is from WITHOUT doing a search for it.  You must reach back in your own memory banks to find the answer.

That's some real etching in the blade - no faux shenanigans here.  Too bad it's only on one side but it might've been too expensive otherwise.

So far all my swords have been authentic movie replicas with certificate, in particular I love LOTR swords and Striders Ranger Sword is my absolute pride and joy.

Eowyn's Sword - love   If I could get my hands on King Théoden's sword I'd consider my collection near complete.

Viv, I really like that one that is mostly blue. It is quite beautiful.

Those are some awesome swords Haz. Personally, I don't care that much for Strider's sword (partly because he didn't have one in the books, and partly because I just don't like the look of it), but I totally agree about Theoden's sword. Eventually I plan to have a room dedicated to LOTR, and a room dedicated to SW (although it will probably end up being one room), and I will have LOTR replicas everywhere.

There's tons of designs that I just don't care for so I totally respect what you're saying.

I've wielded some of the elvish swords and especially Thranduil's is rank heavy with poor balance so I'm staying away from those.

Yes ... good balance is a factor for me lol, have yet to try Hadhafang so still interested in that one.

I would love to have a dedicated room with nice glass doors and accent lighting for display and storage, maybe one day if we move to a bigger home.

I would keep Narsil over Anduril personally. But that is just because I like the history better then the actual LOTR books/movies. But I would definitely have them both. Along with Glamdring, Sting, Orcrist, Gandalf's staffs, Legolas' bows and daggers, Thranduil's sword(s), Aragorn's knife, and. . . all the rest.

I don't recognize that first one. Who does it belong to?

EDIT: I'm assuming it is one of the Nazgul's since the pommel is the same of both of them, but I don't actually know.
