I am genuinely excited, but my hopes are very low. Like with everything (especially movies), I always expect the worst. Than I can only be pleasantly surprised. On a more aesthetic note, I find it interesting how different JJ and Rian's respective SW movies look. I much prefer the look of JJ's films. Ironically, I thought TLJ had one of the best trailers ever.
I do agree with this. The final trailer for TLJ was absolutely incredible. Also, does Evil Rey's saberstaff look kinda like two Aeon's stuck together to anyone else? |

Hi Taegin, I thought that too at first - two Aeons with Graflex emitters grafted on. But I think it might look a little bit more like this...  I also have a Zorri Bliss inspired hilt done too. Man I cannot wait for this film now! |

My second theory is that Rey's DNA was taken from her and her clone is sent to kill her. The clone is also one of many. Think of The Force Unleashed II where there were many clones of Star Killer

That was one of my Theories on Rey going in to TLJ. That she was a clone of Palpatine (or another Force user) and was the first of an Army. My second Theory was that she was one of the children in the stormtrooper program and when she showed force sensitivity someone got her out of the FO's hands. |

Like the original TFA teaser with Kylo walking off the shuttle onto Starkiller and igniting the saber for the first time. Nothing remotely similar happened in the movie. I doubt we will actually see Rey just standing around with that thing. |

To me it's sort of like (and I don't know how familiar ya'll are gonna be with DC Comics lore) if DC had decided that Kingdom Come was the canonical future for Superman and the heroes of his era. I like Kingdom Come fine as story in and of itself but it's not really what I would want at all for how the stories of those heroes end both individually and collectively. |
