Will do! I've actually seen them once before, but it was at a big festival show with 4 other bands playing at the same time. The circle pit was awesome though!
I saw them at a festival as well, this past summer. I was up towards the front in the pit and crowd surfing. lol. It was fun  |

I agree. Fireflight is so generic. Unbreakable was my guilty pleasure, song-wise, but that got old. I don't mean to offend anyone, by the way. Ok, I admit it. I'm a sucker for a female lead. Just adds a whole other dynamic to the feel of the music, if they can pull it off. Anyway...
SONIC SYNDICATE!!! I'm extremely picky about the lyrics I listen to. I do like their sound. Gotta think on the lyrics a bit more. Hell, I love ITM, but there's a couple of their songs I don't listen to b/c of the lyrics. Anyhow, I got Overcome by Matt Dylan playing now. |

Yeah, I know what you mean. Yeah, I'm not that picky about lyrics. As long as it's not downright stupid, then I'm good to go. Currently listening to Contradiction by Sonic Syndicate. My favorite ballad ever Roland Johansson has the most majestic voice ever.

I haven't listened to any Symph metal, but I'm with Oramar on this one, I'm a fairly big fan of a good female lead. My main things that the lead has to be, is talented, and have a good range (IE not Amy Lee). |

I'm not a huge fan of female leads, but this band restored my faith in female leads in metal, as well as female-fronted metal bands in general.

I don't mind Amy Lee, but she's nowhere near the best... she's not in the same league as Tarja, Melissa Ferlaak, etc. |

Very well done. I'm going to have to look into them a bit more. That I can agree with. It's one of the main reasons I love symph metal so much. I'll second that. HB is another band I've been listening to for a long time. Can't understand most of their material since I don't speak Finnish, but I really like the sound. I still have to say I like Maria Brink's vocals best though. I've yet to find another singer who can hit the raw screaming power in songs like Daddy's Falling Angel or Prayers and then come back with soft, harmonious singing like in Into The Light or World in Flames. Also, Jedi Relmeob, you've restored my faith in humanity. I'm not a huge fan of opera, but I do really like some good classical pieces every now and again. You've inspired me to break out The Four Seasons by Vivaldi. Point for you, sir. |

I love classical music. It is, after all, the root of all metal music. Those two genres are very closely linked, especially when you look into genres like neoclassical thrash and symphonic metal and, well, any form of metal, really.

Movies and shows, Star wars obviously! Lol
Anything Sci-Fi really! Cheesy or otherwise. I used to love watching Mystery Science Theater 3000. Rocky Horror Picture Show!!! Lol The list is endless! Lol
