Greetings!

Here is our latest offering: Free form Shii-cho. This is an unrehearsed improvised practice session using only the Shii-Cho formula. I am posting this to demonstrate how far you can stretch three strikes and two concepts.

Good freeform... Very slow and methodical. I tend to just go ballistic when I freeform. It's what lets me just let go and relax. lol I know ironic right?

This was pure Shii-Cho formula. Three Strikes, two basic steps, and the zones and marks of contact. That's all. This is why this kind of stuff was put into the military, it's is simple and easy to use even with no experience.

There are a limited number of ways one can strike a humanoid. The combos are universal, but that also makes them well known. Shii-Cho is a basic style and so I made it conform to technique the way such a training should.

Each Dulon training is different. The focus of Shii-Cho is technique and precision with simple strikes. The focus is paramount and each strike has strong focus, the body training to perform each cut perfectly.

Shii-Cho at this level is more like a meditation.

This is why I love Shii-Cho. I'm still trying to learn the second series of your Dulon. I only have the first part down.

I'm in a special "slow learners" program.  Undecided

I like what you have done with Shii-Cho to make it your own from the General Sun version.  I am looking at doing the same thing with it, but using more of the Aikido influence I have to customize it slightly.

Bravo, Master Nonymous.

Thank you, sir.

My advice if you want to make your own Shii-Cho is keep it simple. What did is created a training regime that I could teach to kids in a week. I know of one person here who is trying to learn it off the web, so that will  be good feedback. But Shii Cho is supposed to lay the foundation. I kept it as simple as I could staying with only the marks of contact, attack zones,  the three strikes and the foot work. Quite frankly, thats all one needs to become proficient with your weapon.

Good luck! I can't wait to see what you come up with.
