I actually like that design. Maybe here in another few months. I'll definitely get one though if a curved hilt comes out and looks good. Maybe Bellicose length?

When it comes to a curved hilt id like to see one that dosent have a very dramatic curve like this one Rather than the slight curve being at the distal end, a more proximal (to the blade) curve (i.e. below the emitter) would have a more meaningful effect on the pommel. See, if you look at Dooku's hilt, there's a slight curve above where one would put their hand, and another more dramatic curve below this position. This distal curve would have no effect on how you'd hold or swing the saber, however the proximal curve is where all the difference is made. The lower curve is aesthetic only. I think it just depends on what you want. I do like the above design, but if you want the curve in your curved hilt to make a mechanical difference as well as an aesthetic one, proximal curve. If you want the difference to be aesthetic only, go for the distal curve.

How does one actually wield that Kallig lightsaber? Looks like the wings or whatever they are extend most of the length of the hilt.

Gloves... gotcha. Still looks a little uncomfortable to hold and I suspect would probably make orbits a lot more difficult.
The emitter looks pretty cool though - an interesting variation to the usual claws.

Well that was more of a general hand-to-hilt ratio to demonstrate. I don't think the protrusions from the hilt itself would be too detrimental to the use of the saber. Hell, my current WIP has an activation box right where I hold it and it hardly disturbs me at all. I'm sure as long as the "wings" as you called them aren't sharp and are thick enough, it'd be comfortable to hold. It's not like the hilt is too large where you can't close your hand all the way around it.

The original image makes the saber look a little more uncomfortable to use.

The original image makes the saber look a little more uncomfortable to use. I agree. But maybe remove or trim them, and it will be comfier to hold.

Do you guys really like that saber?
Honestly, it looks like a crafting project...taking a saber and gluing on a bunch of bits, couple cables, and those wings...yikes.
A very ungainly saber as designed...indeed!

It's not one of my favorites. I agree, it's one of the more "messy" SWTOR designs. There are much better ones to choose from that US could possible make.

I agree. That is the saber design that I like the least.

Id like to see more actavation boxes avaible and a couple different styles of them. That would make costomizing our sabers more unique. Id really like to get one for my shock le

As long as there is space on the hilt, you can have it special requested to have an activation box put on a saber. You just have to email them and pay a requisition charge.
