Actually, instead of a curved hilt, why not come up with a handful of different styled and coloured curved/elbow-type connectors?
Screw one of them into the bottom of your hilt, then add your favourite pommel. Hey presto - curved hilt!
I'd recommend adding the ability to adjust the orientation of the bend (once connected) in the same way you can change the orientation of the Reaper claws. Eg, loosen a screw, twist into desired place, tighten the screw.

I'm pretty sure if we condensed all of the "curved hilt" and variant suggestions and condensed them into one post, this thread would lose about 110 pages.
I mentioned this in the other thread that Deep posted recently, but I would really like to see a return to slightly slimmer sabers.

I think that might run up quite a bill with the man-hours it would take. right now the hilts come machined and ready for electronics, if I understand correctly. so any painting would be done in shop and take quite a while. |
