Falcon is a fun set, fairly detailed interior too. Just be warned, if you buy another SW Lego set.... and I mean ever, you will realize the Falcon is actually very, very, very small.... lol (My X-Wing was actually bigger than the Falcon, no joke)

With longer plates, I bend them a little to make a tiny crack between them. My fingernails do the rest.

With smaller ones, I would attach them to the bottom and top of two longer plates, using the longer elements as levers to pry them apart. Getting them unstuck from the long plates is easy. At least I think that's how I did it....

Vel just reminded me, I should post a pic of this later lol, but awhile back on a day of inspired boredom I made a Lego Mirax Terrik fig. Pretty good match for her too. Cheesy

The overdue pics of my two X-67 Fighters.  Grin

Okay, this baby is the one and only original, though I think she's on mark II or III of her mods.

She was built from the original X-Wing set, modifications basically being to smooth tile over the rear cargo hatch, pop off the upper wings, and add canons to the fuselage on either side of the cockpit. I also removed the landing gear and added my own squadron markings, set to Sid Manroon's original unit, Gold Squadron.

And THIS honey is the second one. Wink

She was built entirely from spare parts, modified slightly to better match the illustration I had done (see my avatar lol), and I swapped out the nose cone for something a little bit more pleasing to the eye since I had the proper parts to do so. She's running the same canons, a much more solidly constructed Astromech Socket, and at long last her proper Novaldex J-77 Event Horizon Engines. I'd LIKE to get her marked out for Nova Squadron, but as you can see the colors I had on hand are hodge podge at best for now. Still, there's a little of the proper markings in there. Wink

What do you all think? If she's popular, I can list out the mods to the original X-Wing instructions for anyone who wants to make a duplicate. Smiley

Reminds me a lot of the Z-95 Headhunter.

I like it. I think it's really really cool.

I have the original Tie-fighter sets with the tiepilots and their brown heads. Along with that, I have the original Vader's tie fighter. I'll have to upload some pics.

I have the original TIE Bomber, but I'm pretty sure that's only had one release anyways. lol Same for the Interceptor.

And Danny, thanks. The idea was to basically build an Ugly that would be a cross between the X-Wing and the Headhunter, since the original X-Wing is about the size of a Z-95 in comparison to the current X-Wings.
