I love it the way it is, the electrical tap is not bad at all, and the extra grip section is a nice cosmetic touch. Not in the book description, but it helps finish off the emitter nicely, and I think it's something Corran would have done at one point or another to help relieve the awkwardness of grabbing the barrel of a blaster cannon if he had to go high on the hilt in a duel.
Also, I have a suggestion for the name of your device. Just read and think about it for a minute. Let it roll around your ears awhile.

The Pasbe Device.
Thanks again Manny

Hmmm....I like it! After all, no one else (to my knowledge) has made anything quite like it. Not that I'm planning to copyright it or anything

still, the Pasbe Device seems appropriate! Thanks for the name!
Looks good!
Have you thought of using tightly wrapped wire around the emitter? It might look better than that piece of flat tape, if you decide to take it off and still want to add some detail. But I think you're right, with the other details you added you may not need anything right up by the emitter now.

I hadn't thought of that actually. That might make it stand out. Honestly though, I've taken off the single strip of tape and like it a lot better now. Thankfully my order shipped the other day (with the LED, disks, etc.) so in the next week or so, I should be able to wire it up!
Sorry I didn't get to post until now, but it looks great! The fact that you actually made it from a handle gives it so much more authenticity, it truly is your own version of his hilt. That color disk system is very clever too, props! It looks much more rugged than the rest of your collection, but considering the hilt in question I'd say that's a good thing.
Good to see you here lol! I really enjoyed making it my own. Like I said, it's certainly not like anyone else's versions or ideas of what it would look like, but it fits the bill for me and I love it. I'm glad you like the Pasbe Device! I'm just glad it actually worked. I'm not normally a very inventive guy. Thanks Nero!
