(More) New models now available in the shop!
Saber Stands Introducing new custom saber stands to show off your sabers in a stylish way. This is something I have wanted to do for a while and am very pleased to introduce these to the shop. With the recent price reduction in some materials, these became a possibility and are priced competitively with stands from other sources. The above image is of the standard Saber Stand.Also with the most iconic symbols from the Star Wars Universe! All stands are available in three different materials and over 10 colors and finishes and they are all available today! I have a couple on order and will post pics as soon as they arrive. Question for you in regards to your food capsules; most capsules are required to be of a metallic color to be accepted. Are you considering adding any metallic colors to the ones you have available? Obviously we can paint them otherwise but I was just curious. Also, I made some color alterations to make the holo-comm pop out more. It's basic colors were fine but I think it looks a bit cooler now!  |

Nice! I haven't seen that material painted before so I'm glad to see it came out well. As far as the capsule colors, there are no full metallic materials offered by Shapeways. The only thing close is the Metallic plastic that has flecks of aluminum dust in the grey nylon plastic. It is probably best to get the White Strong and Flexible Polished plastic and paint it for the best metallic look. |

May well be placing an order for a few button covers this weekend. At the moment, looking at a red knurled switch for my Bellicose and a red cover for my Manticore. I'm wondering what would be the best colour to go with for my Shock LE - would a yellow or orange complement the gold detailing, or should I stick with red (which goes with everything!)?

Thanks for the order, James! I see you went with the red which I think is a fine choice. The yellow and orange colors are actually very bright and may not have complemented the gold detailing as well as imagined, but like you say, red goes with everything. |
