I must be dumb. I have scoured the ultrasabers website and I do not see any saber stands being sold anywhere. I contacted Emory, and he wrote back saying Ultrasabers does not sell stands. Am I missing something?
Ok I don't know how, but I know I didn't knowingly put US.com for that. It's supposed to say tcss.com. They do have the stands. They also do custom saber parts, but not fully assembled sabers. All of it.
Thanks Another thing I'd like to see from US is a version of the lightsaber pike yari extension that comes in LE finish.
Standard and Dark. And CE too How about a finance option?
It's called a savings account. Just transfer funds to checking for making a saber purchase. I do it all the time, that way I don't blow money that needs to go to other places. |

Although it hasn't been that strong this last month, I also try to limit myself to buying only when something on my wishlist hit DoD, so I can try to maximize savings. |

How about if Emory can set up a kind of SUBSCRIPTION, in which over a year, smaller contributions are made which can pay for.. I dunno, 3 sabers a year? you pay monthly, then, once after the first 3 months have been paid (for a saber and postage), US can send it out? Obviously the saber options would need to be confirmed at the start of the subscription so you know how much the payment should total..
This way.. US get the money in their account and we get a saber at the end?

ta for the points! Totally understand that patience could be a problem.. however "..you must have patience!" my thinking is that the die hard saber buyers will get the subscription PLUS order a few sabers throughout the year, and us noobs or ones with less money to play with will get an amazing surprise of a saber in the post! That would just be awesome! |

Starkiller's lightsaber is depicted as having an open crystal chamber in the "Lightsaber" menu in Force Unleashed. It's supposed to be a cut-away, like all those books they've published, to show what's going on inside. It makes no sense to have an open chamber. Just found an image from that cutscene. Unfortunately the "bunny-ears" are facing away from him, so you can't see if the chamber is open. But I maintain that the saber menu is depicting a cut-away.
Taking a break I found that cutscene again: http://youtu.be/WWIGeYSZ4q4?t=2m14sAlas the scene does not rotate enough to say whether the saber is open or not  But after Starkiller drops the saber, its parts are shown on the floor (at about 2:38); I'd say those are not enough to 'fill the gap'. Food for though about the 'why': Wasn't it mentioned somewhere that Starkiller disassembled and assembled his saber by force on a regular base while meditating? That could be a bit easier if the saber's open... |

The crystal chamber is semi-circular, and therefore open. Well fought. points Nickel plated yaris and couplers!
That's what I'm talkin' about. Just got a Dark Prophecy in, and started thinkin' "how awesome would this be in an LE, with the grooves and the narrower sections milled back to silver?" That would be a friggin' beautiful thing. |

I think an expanded line of MHS compatible parts (pommel, emitter, body, etc) would be nice. It definitely return dollars back to Ultrasabers' pockets from some of their competitors (most of you know who they are). I'd feel funny modifying an hilt from US with parts from one of those competitors.
