Thanks for the advice all, what about the 'fullness' to the blade that the Ultraedge provides to Arctic blue? Looking at photos and reading other posts it seems the differences are quite minor and for Arctic blue all blades look amazing, just want my saber to look as amazing as possible  Grin

Is there a way that your budget could afford both types? I regret not getting the midgrade with my order just so I had one for comparison. I'll get one with my next order, but maybe you could learn from my mistake and just order both?

You have to order the 36" blade and in the order comments, ask them to trim the blade down to 32".

super grollia glue. about 6 hours. i think it fell off because of the crack. can i send the blade back 4 a know 1. it is stupid the UEHG blade already broke when they say u can be like a juggernaut and it was just a normal duel. my blade holder came with a huge white scratch which sucks 2. and my overlords battery pack just broke because i have 2 charge the batteries at least once a day. the ion batterys suck and do not last long at all. US must think i am a millionaire that can spend $300 on a saber and buy tons stuff every month 2 repair my combat ready sabers. i still love them that's y my batterys keep going out. Angry

6 hours is usually not enough even with gorilla glue. I wait a full day when re-gluing tips with gorilla glue just to be safe and have yet to have a tip come off after a repair. Also I recommend buying extra tips cause you never know when a blade can give out. I have 2 spare blade tips at all times. Also I know it can be a bit frustrating if they don't answer your email, but realize your not the only one sending them emails and it can take a few days for them to respond to you. Also the ions battery do have a decent run time, but take a bit to charge so it is recommend to have more that one pair for each saber.  I have three obsidian sabers and have two pairs of batteries for each saber.
Also be careful when removeing your batteries, I have had my three sabers for over a year and have yet to break a battery pack. What are you using to remove the batteries?

Edit:

Just saw your recent post. See Ultra sabers came through and they are giving you 40% off a new blade. No other saber smith that I can think of would give you a offer like that.

Hmm, a thin knife... that is likely the reason why it broke. The battery pack is like you said is a really thin piece of plastic and is very delicate. Most use a little piece of electric tape and wrap it around the battery pack to pull it out easier. I do the same thing except with string. I think I will actually make a tutorial tomorrow about how to remove your batteries from an ultrasaber since this isn't the first time a member has had this problem.

Example:

An alternate tape method: make a strip of duct tape by folding it in thirds.  Place it under both batteries when you put them in.  To remove the batteries, pull up on both ends at the same time; the batteries should just pop out.  This way there is no tape actually stuck to the batteries.

i wanted 2 get some spare blades since my UEHG blade broke. i put a 36in UEHG, 36in HG, 24in UEHG, 5 round tips, and a pointed tip to try it out and it was 135. i will be set 4 now but 1st i need 134. i have 0. i used all of my $ on my bellicose. my bellicose is going to be waiting for a long time to get another blade. Sad it is weird i can get another saber without sound for some blades

Hey bud.  I'm not getting on you so please don't take this the wrong way.  This is an expensive hobby.  No hobby comes without issues.  No piece of technology is perfect.  I'm a computer engineering major and that's the first thing we are meant to understand.  That being said, from my understandin of this hobby as a whole, 9 times ot of ten you will get a great hilt and blade and everything will function properly.  I did a lot of research before settling on ultrasabers.  Saberforge  has some cool hilts, but they are never perfect and the blades they use are trash.  Parks are gorgeous, but i'm not gonna duel with a 900-1500 dollar saber I waited 6 months to get.  Ultrasabers is in an absolute league of their own.  Their hilts decked out will never cost more than 600, are absolutely beautiful, and come with the most incredible customer service there is.  It takes an Email and a couple days.  Give them some time.  My first saber came with a faulty LED.  It's bad luck, but I know this company will take care of me.  My saber is being repaired as we speak.  These are passionate artists, and you will not be left unsatisfied.  Beyond that, buy a different brand of LiIon batteries.  Be patient when things go wrong.
