So... One will not notice much, if any difference between the UEHG and the standard HG blade in GB? I'm going to get a heavy grade blade but want the brightest. Kinda sounds like it's a matter of opinion which is brighter in GB?

In heavy grade, UE is brighter than the standard when it comes to Guardian Blue. In Standard Grade, there is a noticeable difference between UE and Mid grade

It appears you don't have any yet! Which do you prefer? Or would you rather stay gray?
Sorry I missed your reply...Light side points please. I had some, then someone must have given me some dark side, so I went to 0 again.

Thanks to Deep for starting this thread and to everyone who commented in here. After a week of researching all types of companies I decided to go with Ultra Sabers. In all the reviews I've read and videos I've watched Ultra Saber buyers seem to be the most pleased with their purchase as well as the most willing to share their reviews with quality videos. Also Emery makes great videos and the Ultra Sabers website is by far the easiest to navigate and seems the most professional. All in all it made my decision easy so........ now that I'm done sucking up to everyone
I went with a Graflex SE with Arctic Blue(silver FOC) with an ultra edge midgrade blade. I also went with bronze buttons. Hopefully it looks good. Everyone seems to go with gold but..... Can't wait for it to arrive.

Thank you SO much for this Deep! This is something I always try to explain when people are confused - though I can understand their confusion since there are quite a few different parameters for blade type. I personally prefer the regulars - mid grade and heavy grade - to the Ultraedge. Don't get me wrong the Ultraedge are very pretty blades, and the effect with the light extending throughout the blade is awesome, but I just prefer the simple unaltered light core in the regular blades. Lately I've been a midgrade guy - my very first Ultrasaber had a heavy grade which is great, but something that people don't realize is that the midgrade blades can withstand a TON of punishment. I have had quite a few that have held up to all types of dueling. To me, they're safer too - the hefty weight of a heavy grade blade can be dangerous without protective gear. After all, the things are so damn tough that your head will crack before the saber will! Finally, I prefer the rounded tips - simpler, cheaper, no lead time, and they make stabbing moves less painful for my poor friends yes allways good not to break friends rib cage

Hey man thanks would it be possible to get a 32 inch blade for my raven if so how would i do this? im guessing I would say i want a 32 inch ultraedge heavy grade blade in the comments section of my order? please reply if you know how to order one of these 32 inch blades cause im a shorter guy (5 foot 6 inches) and im used to a 30 inch blade from my force fx saber and i think the standard 36 inch blade would be to long for me.
thanks, -Larue

A question for Deep (or anyone else who has an opinion about this):
At this point I have acquired a variety of blades (UE, Standard Midgrade, Standard HG). All of my Midgrade blades (UE and Standard) except one, are so wrinkled inside that they no longer illuminate properly. I have dueled (moderately) with my son. Is this causing the damage, or am I overtightening the set screws? I have two ultrasabers--an overlord and a scorpion, and I have had this problem with both of them. The Heavygrade blades hold up just fine.
Thanks,
Master Loose Window

I have heard of this happening with more than just the mid grade blades and happens with normal use. One trick that has been passed on to me is to hit it on a couch cushion or pillow and that should help to straighten it. I have had blade wrinkling occur in my UEHG's and this has helped many times.
