And another week of not working begins, no work, no classes to teach, no honey do list do its working out, drawing and watching old movies

Why do I say no to Netflix? Simply because I already have (and am paying for) more things that I want to watch than I have time for, and adding another service would compound that problem and cost me more money (although it would be a relatively small amount). In time, I might drop one of my current paid services and pick up Netflix, but that isn’t likely to happen soon.
Welcome to the modern world of media. I spend more time trying to figure out what I want to watch on Netflix than actually watching anything. And at least half the time I end up watching something I've already watched before.
Ditto. Finished Lucifer Thursday night. So Friday I watched Into the Spiderverse again. Then binged a Matrix marathon on Saturday. Then ran through Love, Death and Robots a second time. (Minus Helping Hand). So now I have settled into watching the Witcher. Bruce Springsteen had a song back in, I tbink it was the early 90s, I dont remember the lyrics but the title was downright prophetic: "57 Channels and Nothing On."
Kinda sounds like the state of things today, doesn't it?
Now it's more like 5700 channels and too much on. Well, I learned today not to set the Idle, Clash, or Lockup on an Emerald Driver to the lowest you can without being at 0, to try an sort of emulate Kylo Ren's lightsaber. Damn near gave myself a seizure from the flashing it was doing and I'm not prone to seizures.
If I'm not mistaken, something like .5sec/cycle will produce a good "condensed blade" pulse. |

Only made it through half the first ep. As for LD&R, I had completely missed how short the eps were my first time through. I was able to pay far more attention to to the animation the second time around. Watching The Witness again, I began to speculate that only the faces were animated. Everything from the neck down was live action. something about the movements and textures being far too realistic even for the uncanny valley. |

Stargirl on the CW is interesting... I’m not fully caught up yet, but they are apparently re-populating the entire JSA with younglings. I pity whoever gets Dr. Fate’s helmet; they are in for a WILD trip.

I haven't heard much but rumors, but I think the whole thing with Dr. Fate's helmet and the Green Lantern aren't going to occur until sometime during their 2nd season. They have enough on their plate at the moment. |

Honestly, since Arrow ended, this has been the only CW show I've enjoyed. Flash wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. |

Aye...it was. Just enough real technique mixed in with fantasy. Cavill is made for physical roles....even more it is accurate to Geralt's fighting style from the books. |
