LOL. I like to think I put the "pro" in procrastination. I one time wrote a 20 page research paper about a classified (at the time) weapons system on the day it was due. I knew it was worth 60% of my grade. I knew I could only find 2 pages of information on it. But I still chose it anyway. Got a B+. Because if I wait until the last minute, I'll be older. And wiser. |

Unrelated: Our neighbour's dog barks incessantly from 9am to 5pm.
I can't help but wonder what's goes through their heads when they do that.
Wouldn't that be like work? Wouldn't it be easier to plop on a bed or couch, and chill?
If you like I make recommendations to train that out, or at least correct the dog when it starts up. |

Some completely stranger ran up behind me and tried to hug me earlier and at first, I thought it was just some stupid (and very not funny) joke, but the person genuinely thought I was someone else until I turned around. The person looked SO incredibly sad to find out I wasn't their intended friend. I was just glad they hadn't actually bear-hugged me from behind because that would not have ended well.

Awwww, did they think you were someone they hadn't seen in years? I don't care what they thought, honestly. I wouldn't walk up behind ANYONE and bear-hug them, even if I happened to be 110% sure of who they were. Why would someone do that? In my case, I will reflexively throw you. It's built into me from years of martial arts and self-defense training. Some clerk would have been super mad about their display of candy bars after that. |
