My favorite part of X-Men: Apocalypse, was that the entire movie was all Moira's fault.

Origins was only retconned out by DOFP. Although Fox has always fudged with the timeline in x-men so much that only the most hardcore of fans can get the timeline and alternate timeline straight.
No I mean in the sense of how certain things didn't line up chronologically. Like in the First Class, Emma Frost was a woman, but in Origins she was still a teen, even though First Class' events happened long before. NTM, Deadpool took it's pokes at Origins as well. Even though I think Origins did a hella better job explaining how DP got his powers.

how GREAT was the scene in the forest with his family? The Feels!! Yeah, he did a wonderful job! That was a really good scene. My favorite scene was the one with him and Quicksilver, though. You know the one. Origins was only retconned out by DOFP. Although Fox has always fudged with the timeline in x-men so much that only the most hardcore of fans can get the timeline and alternate timeline straight.
I'm a pretty hardcore fan and I actually struggle with this, so I just shrug it off and enjoy it as it is. Too much work! My favorite part of X-Men: Apocalypse, was that the entire movie was all Moira's fault. HA HA! I didn't think of it that way until you just said this and now, I can't unsee it.

But I can't stand continuity errors. Tiny ones, I let slide. Or at least try to.

that's always been a main complaint from lots of the geek community about the x-films, the continuity issues. DOFP did a lot of good work in cleaning it up. It's not perfect, but much better than it was

But for me, the movies are most of what I know. But what little I managed to glean from the cartoon as a kid starts to make one question. Like Juggernaut being Xavier's step brother, and not actually being a mutant. Although the mystic aspect of that arc left a bad taste.

I think it makes her look like peacock, which is appropriate since the peacock is associated with Hera, and Hera is the goddess of Women.

the mystic arc of the character is true to the comics. however the movie completely glossed over the whole xavier being his step-brother, hence me pretending X3 doesn't exist (much like Indy and the Crystal Skull doesn't exist)

Yeah, this really bothered me. I'm usually pretty lenient with the whole "movies vs. comics/books" thing, but that was a hard one.

and let us not forget the awful body suit too. SO many things with that movie. And Wolverine: Origins. I really recommend watching First Class and DOFP. First Class is really good (and has Kevin Bacon in it!!! I mean, c'mon. KEVIN BACON). And DOFP while inspired by the storyline not an exact adaptation does a good job of resetting the timeline. Plus, if you liked the Quicksilver scene in Apocalypse then see the first and (in my opinion) best sequence.
