It's curious reading all these comments about public transport, or the lack there of. Public transport in the UK is used daily by millions, whether in small towns of cities. Trains, buses, coaches, trams and the underground (and that's just London). Yes, lots of people drive too, but for millions of people, they rely on public transport and it functions well (for the most part). I think if more people in the UL who complain about public transport read a lot of your posts, they would realise how lucky and how good they have it.

Completely agreed. The US is one of the countries that lack in public transportation and they manage how the system works rather poorly. I was lucky enough to travel to places like Japan, Europe and Australia in the military and was amazed by how effective public transportation was and how closely it was monitored and being held accountable. I remember, Japan issued an apology on national TV early this year since their train was 8 seconds late. |

I've actually known a couple people who immigrated here from Europe, and that was one thing they said they didn't realize until they moved here, that public transport isn't a thing for the most part, and it was quite shocking to them at first.
