Also agree. Relationships with people differ, I have a more intimate one with my wife since she’s well, is my wife but it wouldn’t be the same with my coworkers since they’re more of associates of mine and will be treated as such.

Happens all the time for me. I love my girlfriend but there are times when I'm frustrated by her (and the other way around as well). Doesn't change the fact we love each other.
I honestly don't like to chit chat much at work. I put on headphones and get in the zone.
It's a bit hard for me to do that since I work in a small team and all our activities have to be done by two people (one doing most of it and the other assisting). We're free to do small-talk rather than get too personal. But not saying anything can create tension which is not a good idea with people you spend all your working hours with.
What d'ya mean? It's always an option. Just depends on if you want to keep your job or not.
I think it was implied that she wanted to keep the job.
