Ended up being a week and a half waiting for my son's results when he had to get tested. By the time we finally got them, the symptoms of whatever he came down with had just about cleared up. |

Well, if the meteorologists have it right, Isaias should hit us sometime late this afternoon. Should be bringing torrents of rain and some nasty gusts of wind.
Then again, I live in New England, where meteorologists are better off using a Magic 8-Ball sometimes; locally, I might end up seeing nothing more than a couple of drops and a few puffs.
But then again....this IS New England....we get thunderstorms in the middle of blizzards.
Whatever we get today, I'm ready for it.
