Pardon your French. I find that $#!+ offensive as p***k and now I feel triggered in my safe space.  I spelled that as “Chuck” with a P instead of a C. Could you at least state clearly in my post that I’m being edited, because now it looks like I’m making no sense at all. Now it looks like I’m saying it’s offensive as “an adorable little kitty cat”. Meh, I guess it works either way… |

Hi bigBear, you will be fine, trust me. I have met Tim Rose (Admiral Ackbar), Alan Harris (Bossk) along with the gentleman who built R5-PHT the astromech and all three were brilliant people.
I did design lightsabers for each person to show them, but I also mentioned little details such as how I saw Mr Harris actually acting whilst standing on the Star Destroyer bridge and I said "I could see you physically posture up as you glared at that flight deck officer, that was cool!" to which he replied "Yes but the microphones didn't pick up the noise I did too...". It was at this point that he let out a gutteral rasping HISS! as he re-enacted the pose and stare! Priceless memories!
I'm sure your "date with Ahsoka" will go swimmingly because you and Ashley love Star Wars!
I've met Tim Rose as well. told me about his story of getting Mark's autograph and what he wrote. Rey Park, awesome guy as well. Paul Blake, Jonas has a heart as big as him. Timothy Zahn. really, I think the Star Celebs are just as much a reason to love Star Wars as the movies and shows themselves. |

Its still a bit of mind bend to hear people casually talk about meeting celebs. I know on an academic level conventions have really opened up the chances of being able to meet them...but as someone who doesn't go to cons I sometimes forget.
