I'm going to Alaska at the end of July on a 10 day cruise and I can't wait to go. I'm going with my family and my girlfriend is joining me as well. I've been on cruises before with my family, but my girl hasn't been on one yet.

Maybe they are part of the LAN, aka the Lego Ambassador Network group of influencers so can get bulk purchases of parts. I think JangBricks on YT mentioned that you can contact Lego customer service directly and purchase specific parts. I do know you can request missing parts or replacements if damaged if you buy sets etc - a while back Lego had issues with air bubbles in the lightsaber blades and folks wanted replacement ones. |

I know first hand that you can contact LEGO group and order parts. Pick-a-brick, though novel, is $#!%. So you just have to know the go-around. I don't know if they will do bulk pricing though. But what the heck? Air bubbles in the saber blades goes back to the beginning. I should know.  If I can find it, I'll get a pic of my heavily modified Droid Fighter (OG TPM release) {Later renamed Vuture Droid.}. Yes, 26yo MOC that is still together.  I got and loved it. I thought the wings were a particularly fun piece, so I started messing with different configurations. Sadly, I could only do so much with 4 parts.....so I bought another one just to get more wings. It was the first, and ONLY, time (until recently) that I ever purposely bought a multiple of a set. I added the extra wing pieces in a configuration that looked like a spider from a top profile. But I still wasn't done. So then I bought 2 MOAR. I had a blast experimenting with different wing configurations. I was also going through a Rogue Squadron phase. And owing to the release of the code to unlock the N-1 Starfighter, it got me thinking....how fun would it be to have a droid fighter in the fleet? And then I started to reconfigure to hold a pilot. THEN I thought the engines were too wimpy for what I was designing. Ultimately, the finished design ended up being about 40% of the original design. It ended up being one of my all-time master pieces. I love it. And should I ever get off my but and finish my script....and get it sold and produced...it will definitely be in the movie. |
