Oh, something I ought to have mentioned.
Normally, on a Prophecy or Dark Prophecy, the LED unit is positioned low enough that the hole in the side of the hilt that is nearest the emitter acts as an emitter window, with the color of the saber blade shining through it.
Not so, on a Diamond. I guess there's just so much stuff crammed in there that the LED unit sits higher in the saber, so through the "upper" hole you see the side of the LED unit's housing, and through the "lower", I can see the base of the unit.

I think
The Dark Knight (AKA my new Diamond Dark Prophecy) would have to disagree with that . . .

. . . granted, I think it DID come like that as well, but after I swapped the switch, everything inside played nicer together.
You probably just need to re-seat the wiring in there.

Speaking of switch swaps, you probably noticed the brass retention screws that come with the hilt by default.
I love that Black & Brass look, so I decided to go all the way with it.

In addition to the retention screws, it has a Brass AV Switch & Brass AV Switch Bezel . . .

. . . a Brass Covertec Wheel and screw . . .

. . . and a super-duper low profile MHS Pommel (powder-coated Black) that is basically just there to hold the Brass Insert:

(See - I told you it was REALLY low profile!)

Love it!

I haven't had time to get a picture of my 4th place prize (or really play with Diamond, for that matter), but it was a really nice Dominix v4 w/ Windows in Blazing Red.

I'm planning, however, to gift that (and my previous 4th place prize - a CG Sentinel) to my Neighbors; their son will flip.
