My second mystery box should be here today, and I'm giddy with excitement. Will report back when I have it.
2nd mystery box was disappointing for me. A stunt Aeon v4 in FO, no windows, and a silver A/V switch. (making it my second blade in such a color). Perhaps it's time to order an empty hilt and do a build of my own... |

exactly, how many of these sold at the cons, multiple cons, and those people never find their way to the forums. I would be humble to say hundreds. |

I had no idea. Were they selling them as far back as September 2016? That's where I bought my first saber and can't say I remember them being an option. |

To say I'm disappointed in my $200 Mystery box sabre would be an understatement. It is an Initiate V4 with Lite sound, but I can't tell what colour the blade is, because the batteries it came with are all flat. It also arrived in a triangular Fed Ex box which was basically torn in half - the only thing that was holding the box straight was the blade. I could have bought the same sabre with this set-up for less than $200 ($300 when converted to Australian dollars). First time I've been disappointed by US   |

AV switch adds $15 color can add $5 |

Or did you forget to take the electrical tape off that they put there for storage and transit so the batteries don't drain? What are the COMPLETE specs on the build so we can actually work out what it's value is? How can you even speculate the value if you haven't even turned it on? It may even have flash on clash! I'd imagine it's a $225+ (depending on color) saber there! Which is a win in my book! And btw, exchange rates, postal and duty costs are not Ultra Sabers' fault. That is part of each person's own responsible adult research and budgeting. |

I worked out the cost, and it comes in at $199 US - pedantic, I know, but when you get people spending $75 and getting a Diamond Controller V4 sound premium hilt sabre, and you spend $200 and get a basic sound basic hilt sabre (which turns out doesn't work - I removed the tape, bought some new batteries, and nothing), I think I'm entitled to be disappointed.
What's the point of having the 2 different price ranges, if you're just as likely to get a better sabre for $125 less?
