Solstice, I really like that pike. Did you use the new dagger-blade? Did you cut the blade diagonaly on top? And how dit you mount the blade on a woodon pole (or is it a cardboard tube in disguise)?

Yep, that's the blade I made. It is cut diagonally and then crimped and sealed with some jewelry glue. As for the pole; I got a male/female adapter piece from tcss and epoxy'd it onto a stout wooden dowel from the hardware store |

2nd hospital visit. this time outside showing all the kids support by lighting up the night for them....and we lit it up!  Said it before but that is both incredible and laudable, bB! You and your people are awesome  With it being the holidays and all, a family photo is appropriate. Point to bigbear as well for bringing the Force to the kids who could use a pick me up!   Wonderful collection, HSV! One of my favorites =]  Some V3 saber fun   Your sabers always look fantastic, Zren^^ Some pike action  Digging the saberpike, SL! Been awhile since I've visited/posted. Visit a lot, just not posting much. Love the hobby, just people look at me funny if I walk around with a saber on my side. LOL. My other hobby, Indiana Jones has a more practical side. I wear the hat, shirt and jacket when ever I want. Hat and jacket are 90% of the time and no one bats an eye. But I digress. I've been wanting got post some shots with my new cloak from a seller on Etsy, she make cloaks more suited for the Lord of the Rings characters. Tried one and tried to modify it with no luck so I bought another, this time with arm holes. I got the idea from Side Show mythos Obi-Wan. Still need better pants, but work in progress. Shirt is from Twin Rose. Oatmeal linen (same type as Mace Windu Cloak: Medieval Ranger Cloak - Linen ( https://www.etsy.com/listing/473379481/medieval-ranger-cloak-linen?ref=yr_purchases ) Mine was custom. Saber: Lost Gray with blue daytime blade. And switched out pommel, Raven I think. Custom made saber drop holster (my doing) Blaster: TraywickDesigns ( https://www.etsy.com/listing/267681123/lpa-nn-14-reys-force-awakens-star-wars?ref=yr_purchases ) Belt was also from Twin Rose, in distressed black, special request. Shoulder pouch, Goggles and are bracers are from Etsy TimeVehicle ( https://www.etsy.com/shop/TimeVehicle?ref=yr_purchases ) bracer were a custom request, goggles he had and I believe still does, the should pouch (my Indy vibe  is hit or miss, some are one offs. Pants are dyed dark brown and boots are standard black army. Blaster holster in black was also from Etsy FanFictionProps ( https://www.etsy.com/listing/567346131/rey-blaster-holster?And for some pic's, was trying for a Force Awakens look in the snow, but it really wasn't dark enough. Out of my funk for now. Still not really mentally prepared for this week either though x.x Who else isn't? Also I put a regular clear type blade in my Overlord I did still have, Arctic Blue really does look best with this type of blade I think ;p  |

Just tried both blade types on my Arctic Blue Initiate v2... as cool as the standard blade is, I still prefer the UltraEdge. But this is why UltraSabers sells both types of blades— so that you and I can both get the kind that we want! |
