Yes I have a 40” main blade and I’ve cut the quillons down to 4”
Noticed that. Love the balance of the longer main blade and shorter quillons. Though, like Logos, I might go with a 36" rather than a 40. On the other hand.... :-) |

Definitely a nice saber there, Robyn. Myself, I'd likely go with a shorter main blade, but that's up to you and your comfort. Noticed in your video that your left hand works about as well as mine does |

Yeah, I’m working on my off hand, it’s a challenge as I have neuropathy due to diabetes... but it’s slowly improving with practice |

Robyn, yes I couldn’t resist trying it in some spins with my good hand lol had to find out where the balance point was, more or less. With the 32 blade I found I was holding it between the emitter and the AV switch . |

You’re welcome! Yes I’ve found with the Arbiter hilt being so long that I’m holding it between the emitter (not the pommel) and the AV switch. There’s so much trailing behind my grip that it feels awkward though. Not my first choice for spinning . I know it’s been discussed before but I’d like to add that the Arbiter would make a great Pike. |

Yes! please do ! Just curious, did you use a shorter blade on the pike, like a 24 or a 32 ? I have a 32 on this Arbiter and it seems the better fit for the overall working length. |

Just curious, did you use a shorter blade on the pike, like a 24 or a 32 ? I have a 32 on this Arbiter and it seems the better fit for the overall working length.
I used a 30” blade. Cut my own down to a size I liked. For all of my other sabers I prefer the 32” blade but still have a few for dueling purposes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
