I actually got one too, quite recently!  Mine is a bin 3.  Trying to figure out what to use it for...

It looks perfect on the Jedi katana though.

@ Temple, yes I want the 9 colors I'm starting to see on some custom builds. My logic is whilst your the character playing the game, you come across different lightsaber holocrons that change blade color & frequency (I love the unstable yellow crystal on Raxxis Prime) with Igniter it has a lot of variables for blade pulse & also bling on cling(there are settings for the secondary led die) all Leds are board regulated (no need to play the resistor game, you set the values). Now I just need to finish up my machining for the brass grips & a little aging & then the fun begins studying a 45 page manual on how to wire/use the darned thing!

lol 45 page manual sheesh, i just ordered my igniter but am planning a rgbw dont think ill want yellow. proballly going to run my blue and wite together.

 I know I posted this over in tech. But I thought it should be in this thread as well, here is the control box with PLI, 2 tact switches , clear acrylic cast window , brass cover & recharge port, (still need to wire the tact switches & make the copper buttons).

 progress happening!  I realize now why a starkiller is pricey , I've done alot of machining & this one I went against the builder's rule: have a detailed print! I have done a bit of engineering on the go & used a similar switch & recharge set-up as I've seen on a couple of versions. As you can see it's already very aged due to a good long caustic soda bath on the main hilt & shroud parts. Next step is to wire the 4 wires for the main LED & do final assembly on the crystal chamber , from there I go into board wiring & finishing up the rail system.

impressive! i often build sabers, but i never put that much detail into them. for me, it needs to function well, but i have to say, after looking at yours i might just start...

 @Faa-Yal , thank you much! Actuallly I went a bit overboard on this one in that I used a lot of copper, brass & some stainless (the shipping was almost as much as the metals) I'm also starting to realize the detailed smiths get a lot of work due to the fact that these end up being art that looks great on a stand , & once the bug hits... I see alot of guys (on here for example)that have 8-10 sabers all of different makes & purpose, & I can see how that happens

 That parts going to be awhile, I'llget the mechanicals all done & then wire it on final assembly, the entire hilt section will be removable (thats why there are no controls or wiring built onto the main bottom hilt)
