When I saw it in the bubble wrap, I was a little bummed. I thought it was a dark standard issue. When I opened it, I was pleasantly surprised to see a dark prophecy. I'm not sure I'll duel, but I might get a couple thumb screws for looks. I might get a different pommel and weather the hilt a little.

Looks like I got a dark prophecy in CG. It has set screws instead of the brass thumb screws and no covertech. My blade is a mid ultraedge I think. I feel its to long at 36" but I think I'll end up ordering a 32" heavy grade. I was very happy to get a prophecy. I might have to customize it. I'll try to get pics up soon.... If I can put this saber down.
....  I can't put into words a better example of the one GrabBag I wished to see. Point for you Chong! After four grab bags with no prevail, I broke, and finally just went ahead and placed my order for my, Dark Prophecy V3 BR FoC silver OBSIDIAN! I can certainly say it is just what I needed out of a great duel saber with sound. It seems to be the consensus that the 36 inch blade is too long in some instances with this particular hilt, but after messing around for quite a while with it, I have grown accustomed to doing certain things one-handed with the long blade. None the less, I want to see these pics soon  .. |

Nice! Welcome to the Libby League, Magik. I've been thinking about ordering up a Dark Libby since I like my regular one so much. In fact, I keep it in my office so that when I'm stressed I can close the door, turn out the lights and give it a swing, haha.

Nice Dark Libby. Now I definitely want one in Blazing Red.  I was wondering though, would those thumb screws from the other guys fit or would I have to mill down the threads some if they're too long? A gold one would look awesome on. |

And @Magik, I'd leave the saber as is. Looks mean like that to be honest. Regular Heavy Grade blade? Its just all the perfect contrast to me I think.
