Has anypony realized the parallels between MLP and Egyptian mythology (and by extension, the Kane Chronicles series)?
Elements of Harmony=Ra
Celestia=Ra, Isis, Horus (at different times)
Luna/Nightmare Moon=Set
Discord=Apophis
I never made the other comparisons, but I definitely saw parallels between Discord and Apophis (even down to their shapes). |

So, I'm watching "The Cutie Mark Chronicles" for the first time, I haven't finished it yet, but from the very first story, I can already tell that every single of the mane six ponies got the cutie marks because of Rainbow Dash's first use of the Sonic Rainboom.
The rainbow that led Apple Jack back home, the race that Rainbow Dash started in Fluttershy's defense, the rainbow explosion from the sonic boom that caused both Twilight and Rarity to discover their cutie marks.
Definitely the Sonic Rainboom.
Time to finish the episode...

Seeing deflated Pinkie is sad, whether or not you think of her as Pinkamena I agree. I only just saw it for the first time. It made me rather upset. I feel a surprising connection to all of the characters. It's odd. Oh and I think I'm noticing a little attraction towards Spike on Twilight's behalf, I might be crazy, but I doubt it. |

I prefer the term "Mad" Yeah, romantically. I thought it had to be. every time they're together Twilight get's this really seductive and flirty look on her face (just like Spike gets with Rarity). I'm expecting a love triangle for some reason. ANYWHO! I absolutely love this show. I would totally live there and I'd be best friends with Pinkie, Rainbow and Applejack. |
