Why do they not sell this one anymore? I love this design! I agree, it's a great design! You could do the same yourself (which is what I was planning to do before I fell in love with the hilt as-is) with some filing. The anodizing is tough, but it will come off with a little elbow grease. Let me know if you make the attempt, I'd be very curious to see the results! |

Is it a necropost so much as a renewed call to see this awesome saber re-enter US's lineup? Knowing more about these sabers than I did when I first saw this thread, I find it's more interesting to me now than it was when I first saw it. It would be nice to see the LE return for sure. Hopefully this revived thread will stir up some ideas...  |

Excellent! It was definitely what got the ball rolling as far as the color goes, I believe RLYHYPERGUY ended up contacting Deep to find out if it could be done with an RGB LED and that was what created the new color. I'm not sure how this one compares to the Ultrasabers version of Emerald Green, but based on the pictures and descriptions it seems like a good match. This is still my favorite saber, especially for combat. Seriously, anyone looking for a compact battle-ready hilt should try out the Prophecy line. |

You would be correct. The only difference would be that the blade will go Consular Green as the Blue die is more heavily resistored than the CG. In SRD, you got 50/50. At least with my blade, that is how it goes. Half the time when my batteries are dying, the blade goes blue and the other half it goes green. |

As for the Prophecy, I already liked the hilt to begin with. The "Dark Prophecy" is also a slick looking hilt. Very Vader like. Would be nice to see US start making it again.

I've been hoping for the LE Proph to come back too, but now with the release of the Emerald board and seeing that it won't fit into a Prophecy with sound, I'm over it. Next saber will be an Emerald with Obsidian for sure. |

Well this hilt (Dark Prophecy) has my attention gripped! It'd probably only be a stunt, but I'm seriously considering it for my next saber. Colour of blade is a quandry though. As a Sith, I'd probably want to go Pyrestone Orange, but I'm tempted by either Emerald Green or Sunriders Destiny.
Any thoughts?

I really like the contrast between black and greens like CG , Emerald, and Sun Riders Destiny - well black contrasts well with just about anything now that I think about it ... I am of no help now !!! Run away !
