Comparisons- Pyrestone, Fire Orange, Sentinel Yellow

This will be my comparison thread of some of the most debated colors. hopes that this can be help in the future for those who seek it!
 colors i will be posting: sentinel yellow, fire orange, pyrestone orange.

First up: PYRESTONE.

ALL COLORS: LIGHTEST TO DARKEST(brightest to dimmest is not in order)



Brightest to dimmest in person: Pryestone, Blazing red, Sentinel yellow, Fire orange
Personal opinion/recommendation: 1) Pyrestone 2)fire orange 3)sentinel yellow
(Blazing Red is a must have, but most of us know what that looks like. For ye orange/yellow lovers, thats what i like best.) feel free to ask questions if any,

Awesome! Thanks for this, I've been beating my brains in trying to decide which one I like better, FO or SY.

One request though, could you get some pics of the SY by itself. Everytime I see SY paired up with FO it looks washed out, almost white while FO looks more yellow. I know it's the camera compensating for the difference between the two, that's why a shot of the SY by itself would help a lot.

Thanks! And no rush. I think that's one of the reason's why I'm having such a hard time deciding, I want a nice yellow and SY has been hard to get an accurate picture of. I think I've been through every one of Kham's posts trying to figure out what exactly it looks like! lol

Really? preystone is brighter than blazing red? I always considered red and green the brightest. hmm I think I know what saber color i'am getting next. point for posting this.

well this explains alot, like as in why my FO seems dim compared to other colors....should of got the PO. but ah well.

This color is very golden in nature, but yellow nonetheless

@big boss- yeah, when i take the blade out and shine the pyrestone on the wall, i see red,green, and orange mix,
probably the multiple LED's all tweaked to work at once makes it brighter than red but at the same time it isnt "blazing" like the red, its area effect is very unique! thats why cameras cant decide if its red or orange and pictures come out wackXP but it is very nice!

Now that you have all of them you'll understand this.

Looking at the last picture in your previous post at the glow,  from top to bottom you see the progression from SY to FO to PO to BR.

Also you get another point for having an initiate in SY.

Between those two? SY.

Though like Goldleader said, it had a gold hue to it; some people like it some people wish it was more like my sig.

You can always get an AS with LEE filters get get a bright yellow, if you aren't sold on SY.

^ That would work very well! It could be lighter yellow rather than golden, might be worth a try!
