Wow, this thing is intense!  I figured that UltraSabers would be all over this concept given the buzz online after the Ep. VII trailer premiered, but I never thought it would be this quick!  Bravo guys, it looks killer.

Funny that you should comment on the name, Flamberge though, Deep.  Sounds French and I don't speak French, but Flamberge sounds like something to eat, to me.

"Yes, we'd like to order the Flamberge with caramel and walnuts, please, and an extra spoon for my lady friend."

LOL it's more of a visual thing.  It provides an image to go with the name.  I agree though, I like the way it looks when I see the name written, but actually saying it, that's a different story  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

RIP battery run time.

I might pick this up to go alongside my NA crossguard saber, one for costume, one to bash and duel with.

Ah, just looked it up, Flamberge = flaming sword.  Very fitting.  Anyway, I like it.  May have to update the "want" list.

Yeah, I was having the same thought about the battery runtime as well.  May need to convert to an 18650 battery or something.

This visual appearance of this saber is indeed stunning!  I have a question about this saber as an Emerald saber.  Will the Emerald driver control all three LEDs or just the main blade LED?  If the Emerald driver will control all three LEDs, can each LED be configured to a different color or will all three LEDs be the same color?

For an extremely long list of reasons, the Emerald Driver only controls the main blade.  Powering 3 10W LEDs wouldn't leave you with any run time.  As we have the saber made now the run time is almost unchanged.  In addition the current draw with up to 12 high powered diodes on all at once would be epic, the Emerald driver could not handle that kind of current draw.  There are quite a few other reasons as well.

But the simple answer is, no you can not use the Emerald driver to change the color of the two crossguard blades. The color you select in the listing is the color they will always be unless you change the LED.

That all makes sense.  Here's another question.  It appears that the covertec wheel is not a standard installation on the Flamberge.  If the installation of the covertec wheel is requested, what are the appropriate "expressions" to define where on the hilt I want it installed?

Oh wow, that hilt looks nice!  US is getting this one out pretty quick, which is awesome.  Think I like the high polish option.  I'm not sure about blade color yet, maybe VA (in standard MG) with a blue AV switch.

Nice to see you guys moving quickly on this one, Deep!  Hope to see some comparison pics between the 6" and 8" side blades on the saber soon.

For a covertec wheel that is optional on a saber, I would say that you would request placement in relation to the switch. This is what I did when I ordered my Manticore CE. I believe I stated "to the bottom left of the switch, just above the pommel. In similar location as on the Archon."
This is just to give you an idea of how I went about it, hope it helps.

Master Uilos and I have been talking about this thing all day, we'd love to field test it.  I bet I could even get Master Artorius to come out of his cave on Tatooine...

Will be sure to include those in the official release.  I had some on my desk when shooting the video but it completely slipped my mind.  The blades in the pictures and in in the video are 6" on the saber.

Also, 6" and 8" blades will be available on the website down the line.

I totally knew this was going to happen as soon as I saw the Trailer for Star Wars 7.

I said to myself "I wonder how long till Ultrasabers make one like that."

So much awesome! ^_^
