I got my order and raffle prize on Thursday, but have been busy ever since. Flew off on Friday and was busy on Thursday trying to get on top of work and packing before going to the airport. Here's my quick report and photos while I'm waiting for friends to wake up  I ordered a Dark Liberator v3 with fire orange 36" blade and sound. My 3rd prize raffle prize was (i think) a Dark Sentinel LE v4 with a red 32" blade without sound. Both are great. Thanks again to Ultra Sabers for the raffle prize. I really like the Dark Sentinel hilt. In my opinion it looks even better in reality than it does in the photo on the website. A good length to wield with one or two hands, and with a clean simple design to hold comfortably, yet enough elements of design to be interesting. It's interesting too how much lighter the Dark Sentinel is compared to the Dark Liberator and the Prophecy v3 that I bought previously. I presume this is due to the sound board included on the latter 2 rather than because the Dark Sentinel itself is much lighter than the other two. I took a few photos of the Dark Liberator and Dark Sentinel, but don't know how to present them here. Is it possible to upload the pictures to this forum? Or do I have to upload them elsewhere and then link the images? BTW, a friend recently took all 3 sabers to a pop culture convention in Australia last weekend. People were interested in them, and Rey cosplayers in particular seemed to like the Prophecy v3 Thanks again to Ultra Sabers for the raffle prize! |
