Maybe instead of a Saber this year I'll finally get me a sword. Will depend on how things go though. Also, I want your black training Katana D7. Cheesy

Ah..the paul chen/Hanewi Claymore.  I actually have this sword..I'd be glad to answer any question I can if you like.  I do love it.

The Gallowglass.  Been looking for one for years myself.  Fun Fact:  Contrary to popular belief..pommels were not always meant to be a counterbalance.  Many pommels were indeed hollow...the Gallowglass had a wheel pommel without the side plates on.  There isn't much on why this was done.  Main two theories are that it was purely  aesthetic or just to save on material.  Most likely both really.

Mostly LOTR Replicas to start with (obviously not low quality ones), I would love to get Hadhafang, but I may just go with Sting seeing as it is the cheapest of the all. Someday I'll have a whole wall (maybe even a whole room) of LOTR replicas.

Ah.  Then keep in mind United Cutlery is the Company who has the License...anything else is going to be third party (and thus more than likely poorer quality) or customs and more expensive.  This is one of the cheaper sites.....

I got Narsil years ago....but I've since gotten out of collecting replicas.   One day I hope to get a Custom Narsil made that is battle ready.

They look very similar but the difference is that the irish ring hilt has a S handguard while the Gallowglass does not.

Ah pardon...it was my own desires and preferences peaking through there.  "Ring Hilt" and my brain automatically goes to Gallowglass

They will probably end up being my go-to, but I need to do more digging on The Noble Collection. Their stuff seems good, but I don't know a whole ton about them.

(https://www.noblecollection.com/) If you know anything about them, I'd appreciate the insight.

The Nobel Collection...that is a name I have not heard in a while....honestly I had forgotten about them.  While the Nobel Collection swords are wall hangers just like the United Cutlery they are generally much more deatalied.  Here is a good comparison of the UC and NC stings.

I have kind of 'fallen in love' with the Aureus Federswords, especially with the S-shaped cross:

Maybe in a few years when my current feder breaks...

Hmm... interesting. I think I'll probably end up getting Sting from NC, but UC has quite a few swords that I want too. Thanks for the info.
