you can pick up any instrument and learn to play it very well, very quickly, but you could never gain money from it.

I'm assuming you meant gain money from performing. However, if a slot that hands out free cash could open up in the instrument, that would be nice too

I'll take it, in any case. Music is more important to me than having tons of money, and either way, musicians don't get paid a whole lot anyway, so the point is moot. Besides, I always wanted to learn the violin, the piano, the cello, the... yeah, you get the idea.

You can play the most beautiful music ever but people that hear the music will age a lot quicker.
