I hate Bohemian Rhapsody. Hate hate hate hate it. With a passion. I don't care that almost everyone in the world disagrees I still don't like it.
See, that's what John Lennon's voice does to me and everybody thinks I'm crazy. Makes me want to Ren-rage all over the place. Barnes & Noble has developed a very annoying habit of playing the Beatles in their stores of late. One that I hope ends soon. (Now Wings/Paul McCartney...that's OK by me.)
^^^
See, this is what Bob Dylan's voice does for me. I think he's an awesome lyric-smith, but when he sings to me it sounds like he is bad at singing and doesn't care about trying to be good.
It always seems to shock people when I mention that I can't stand AC/DC or The Rolling Stones. Ugh, nope.
I know that music, like movies, is always subjective; there is no "right" or " wrong" opinion. That being said, all these comments surprised me. However, I fully understand everyone's reasons. Each to their own. I DJ in my spare time and know how hard it is to find a song/artist that appeals to everyone. Hard, not impossible.

thanks, they really are! I've been keeping them for years now, 3-5 boys at a time, it is amazing how different their personalities can be. Have another two atm. They are all super sweet and love snuggles from their mum and dad though dad is rather their favourite since he spoils them more Some more sickly sweet cuteness, courtesy of my youngest boy yesterday. Yes, he is a scruffy little thing- his mum had silky fur and his dad had rex fur, as a baby he looked like a rex but we suspect he might actually be a silk rex, bless him!

I would have a hard time keeping rats myself because I grew up used to the longevity of cats (probably on average the longest lived of the traditional pets), where you could even have 20 years with your buddy if you're very lucky. But I have heard very good things about pet rats, that some like to be cuddled and will even start licking you like a cat or dog.

On the note of pets. Mine often get compared to rats haha. This is Zelda, I have another one named hector. But all of my photos of him are where he is pulling the "vicious chihuahua" face and it's hideous lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Somewhere I have a picture of my neighbors Rotty, he has an amusing resting Derp face and it doesn't help that he is slightly overweight and has a tendency to stare off into space.

I'm not sure exactly why. The song just really grates at my nerves and irritates the hell outta me and I can't stand it. It makes me very Sithy all of a sudden and want to throw a Kylo Ren tantrum.
I think I'd rather listen to nails on a chalkboard.
See, that's what John Lennon's voice does to me and everybody thinks I'm crazy. Makes me want to Ren-rage all over the place. Barnes & Noble has developed a very annoying habit of playing the Beatles in their stores of late. One that I hope ends soon. (Now Wings/Paul McCartney...that's OK by me.) I am very glad to know that once they make their destination, your family will all be well out of reach of the fires. Let us know when they make it safe. ^^^
See, this is what Bob Dylan's voice does for me. I think he's an awesome lyric-smith, but when he sings to me it sounds like he is bad at singing and doesn't care about trying to be good.
And don't you dare tell me that it's part of a raw, real sound aesthetic. I can think of MANY vocalists who were WAY more raw and also WAY more technically accomplished and WAY more expressive with the way their used their voice.
I admire him as a writer, musician, and artist, but as a vocalist? NO. NEVER. UGH.
It always seems to shock people when I mention that I can't stand AC/DC or The Rolling Stones. Ugh, nope.
I absolutely can NOT stand "The Wall" by Pink Floyd. Play that song if you want to see me go full Sith! The British kids with the terrible accent make me crazy. I also can not stand Aerosmith. That's what Steven Tyler's voice does to me. I don't like the Beatles, their music puts me to sleep. I get crap for all of this, and also for liking Anthrax better than the other "Big Four."

I will not give you crap for this, as everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I will give you crap for not knowing the actual name of the song. I will also give you Dark Side Points. Every day. Forever. And I will steal your bacon and cheese. Totally unrelated, my daughter turned 14 yesterday....

Oh yeah. They really are like little puppy dogs. They will cuddle, groom you, lick you or just give you little 'nosey kisses' (rub their noses on you affectionately). They are rather more like cats though, they can be a bit Imperial about things rather than having a dogs unwavering loyalty they can be very mischievous and naughty, they have a great capacity for learning and can be trained. Our first rat was a fat massive thing, he was allowed to run around the floor at our old place and coz he was so far he waddled and to run he had to hippity hop with both back feet looking somewhat like a rabbit hop he used to come and tug on our pants or paw at our feet or legs to be picked up and cuddled, and he had his own special cushion on the lounge that he sat on. He was a darling. They do sadly have very short lives and a myriad of health problems. Good breeding can reduce that but the issue is that there are so many terribly inbred rats out there its hard to safely bring new genes into breeding lines without risking introducing something new (friends are breeders). You do get very accustomed to them dying however, its still saddening but you learn to value and make the most of their short lives and learn how to let go when it is their time.
