I hate Bohemian Rhapsody. Hate hate hate hate it. With a passion. I don't care that almost everyone in the world disagrees I still don't like it. Justicar, they live much further south. If the fire managed to race that far south there are much much larger issues, esp since my parents in law live in the middle of a city  it isn't much of a city but it is a city all the same. |

haha, and I haven't even started pulling out all the slang! *evil grin* I shall have to try harder Kham... them feels!!!!! Also- bushfire has now claimed lives  a town of a few thousand people has had to be evacuated. People on either sides are stranded trying to get home (including my parents in law, they are trying to work out if they can get home via a huge deviation inland) and because supplies cant get through, there is now a fuel shortage in the South West. Just crazy! Thankfully we are predicted to have some relief from the hot weather for a few days. Currently glad I live in Perth and not my hometown! The weather in this country is getting insane. We just had a week of floods over here on the east coast. Meanwhile, the west coast is literally on fire. Hope your family and friends are safe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Man, maybe it's just the lighting in that one scene, but that shot of Finn igniting the Graflex saber...the blade looks really SRDish to me.

I think they put a greenish filter over it to give it more of a watery color to the scene. |

There's a funny meme I found today regarding this, however it is somewhat/ mildly political in nature but I can send it to you via PM if you want (Americans probably wouldn't get it being Aussie politics humour anyway). This seems to happen so much re weather. I remember few years ago with those massive floods through Qld, we were also having floods in the midwest while the southwest was on fire and in the middle of a huge drought. It was like everywhere else was getting exceedingly huge amounts of rainfall and we are sitting there going 'not a drop for months... send some of it our way'! 😱😱😱 You don't like Bohemian Rhapsody? 😱😱😱

I'm not sure exactly why. The song just really grates at my nerves and irritates the hell outta me and I can't stand it. It makes me very Sithy all of a sudden and want to throw a Kylo Ren tantrum. I think I'd rather listen to nails on a chalkboard. |

See, that's what John Lennon's voice does to me and everybody thinks I'm crazy. Makes me want to Ren-rage all over the place. Barnes & Noble has developed a very annoying habit of playing the Beatles in their stores of late. One that I hope ends soon. (Now Wings/Paul McCartney...that's OK by me.) I am very glad to know that once they make their destination, your family will all be well out of reach of the fires. Let us know when they make it safe.  |

See, this is what Bob Dylan's voice does for me. I think he's an awesome lyric-smith, but when he sings to me it sounds like he is bad at singing and doesn't care about trying to be good.
And don't you dare tell me that it's part of a raw, real sound aesthetic. I can think of MANY vocalists who were WAY more raw and also WAY more technically accomplished and WAY more expressive with the way their used their voice.
I admire him as a writer, musician, and artist, but as a vocalist? NO. NEVER. UGH.
