IMO it started out good but it seemed like it didn't know where it wanted to go. One fan speculation is because Aaron Ehasz, who was head writer on A:TLA did not return for Korra. He did however start his own studio and their first series, The Dragon Prince, is 3 seasons in on Netflix and being highly praised....the lead character is even voices by Jack DeSena who voiced Sokka. Once you finish Korra I recommend it highly.
As I heard it, they were told every season was going to be their last, only to get renewed at the last moment due to having just enough viewers. Explains why the seasons are disjointed, but the individual story of each season is really enjoyable! Def gona check out Dragon Prince, thanks for the recommendation!

I heard Korra kinda falls apart at the end.

IMO it does. What Psycho said is also true...Nickelodeon pretty much kept leading them along about their renewals until the last minute, that and Ehasz's departure I believe lead to its lesser quality. Korra just wasn't an interesting character imo.

See that's actually where I disagree, as a character, I enjoy Korra more than Aang personally, the side characters arent nearly as memorable though. I like how we got an Avatar who wasnt incredibly wise and knowledgeable at an extremely young age (not saying this doesnt make sense for Aang's character, mind you); Korra's flaws and brash attitude make her a slightly more enjoyable watch for me. That being said I will take the gaang over Mako and Bolin every day of the week. Watching an idiot and a frat boy police officer just doesnt catch my interest.

Characters such as Korra interest me little...it may have something with having to deal with that type of personality growing up and the conflicts I had with them. Now that doesn't mean I cant enjoy seeing a Brash character grow....but Korra didn't really do that IMO. She was no longer Brash true enough but really her character didn't feel like it evolved as much as did a lateral progression. Really, as I said before, the character progression was lacking in Korra. I enjoyed the villain's more than I did the heroes......other than Tenzin and his children. I would have actual rather seen a show about the lives of Aang's children living in their father's shadow after his death with the new Avatar being a background character. Seriously? They named a character Mako?
Yep...Obviously in honor of Iroh's voice actor.... as well *possible spoilers* There is another character named Iroh

I can understand that, the second season was admittedly lacking for me, but the villains have really been fantastic, Zaheer has been a special treat as im halfway through season 3 now. Of the side characters Tenzin really does stand out, especially in the episodes where hes teamed up with Kya and Bumi. I also love Varrick. He has some infectious energy to his performance.

I think we need to get in touch with peoples and make this a thing. Yep...Obviously in honor of Iroh's voice actor.... as well *possible spoilers* Yeah. That episode that paid final respects was a big punch in the feels.
There is another character named Iroh I could see this being Zuko's kid, considering the relationship they had. Had a feeling. I've told others that this is one of the reasons I loved ATLAB...they did things that I would do and told me a story that I wanted to hear. These are also people who know how picky I am.

Zaheer was a beast of a villain...and what he did with his new abilities was not short of exciting. Varrick was one of the highlights.....Very Howard Hughs/Tony Stark but with a bit of Wonka thrown in. I think we need to get in touch with peoples and make this a thing. There is another character named Iroh

They touched on it a bit in the show. Aang and Katara's three children (Bumi the oldest who is in the military, Tenzin who was the only Airbender until his children were born and Kya whos a waterbender) spoke about Aang's shadow over them. Iroh II is Zuko's grandson. Zuko's daughter is the Firelord. For extra fan service not only his Zuko's grandson named Iroh....but he's voiced by Dante Basco. You get to meet Toph's two Daughters as well...and yes they are just as interesting as you would think. Really it was Korra that I found the least interesting.

All good points! At the end of the day, I'm not meaning to say LoK is on the same level of TLA - but still fantastic when compared to its' contemporaries.

Akiro the Wizard, Aku the Shapeshifting Master of Evil, Uncle Iroh.... not to mention his plethora of other roles. Man was a legend. All good points! At the end of the day, I'm not meaning to say LoK is on the same level of TLA - but still fantastic when compared to its' contemporaries.
This I can agree with. If I used other shows on at the time for comparison and not Last Airbender, Korra does indeed shine. Currently Dragon Prince and Trollhunters are what shines.

Nope, just thought I'd update you. Also on a side note, if John Cena does not play Ember Island Players version of Toph in the live action version Netlix is making, we riot..
