Woo! More Korra support is something I appreciate. Season two is a little meh - but TRUST me powering through it for season three is more than worth it.
Ok, so I just finished S2 last night. It started off ok, but then just completely unraveled. At first I was intrigued the first Avatar, Wan. But the more I thought about it the more I hated it for retconning the origin of bending according to ATLAB. SPOILERS: Originally, bending originated from ancient creatures: Dragons had fire, badger-moles had earth, Sky-bison had air, and water came from the Ocean & Moon spirits (if I'm remembering correctly). But in Korra, they just got it from Lion-tortoises. And then there's the whole thing with the fight between light and dark, and the fusion BS. Just UGH. But I have been enjoying the hell out of the cheesy "movers"....and Varrick....and the perfectly sublime casting of Aubrey Plaza as Eska. You weren't kidding when you said power through. |

Hello Everyone, Such sad and heartbreaking news. I was not a big Marvel films fan but even I knew about the huge waves Chadwick made with the release of Black Panther. I will have to go back and watch the other movies Chadwick appeared in. However here is my small tribute to the King....T'Chala....Chadwick Boseman....   Wakanda and Chadwick Forever. |

But even he makes no sense. Why was he a threat before his arrest? How TF did go from non-bender to master just because Harmonic Convergence made him an airbender? Zaheer was honestly the best part of it for me...as well as what I will call Tenzin Unleashed. I had to look up who Henry Rollins was....still don't know who he is.
Rollins is an actor with.... alternative characteristics. I may not always agree with him on a political level, but from what I've seen of him, as well as the overall sense I get from looking at his eyes, he is 0% bull$#!%, and I can respect that. |

Zaheer was a high-ranking member in The Red Lotus and was part of the plan to kidnap Korra at a young age so they would have control of the Avatar. LOL yea. Korra is full of things like that IMO. Lin and Suyin are fun to watch..definitely gave them their mother's flair. |
