I think so to. Like I said, it was the plot, writing etc. that made Superman Returns not as good as it could have been. Here's a question..... Ranking Supermen has been done (and Reeve as far as I've seen always dominates)...but what about Lois. My opinion is a bit odd....because as much as I will always put Reeve at the top...Margot Kidder isn't my top Lois. That goes to Teri Hatcher from Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. So...Opinions. Who's the best Lois.
Teri Hatcher is a really good pick, but I still favor Erica Durance, from Smallville. She was on the show long enough that there was plenty of character development. Teri (thanks to the dark hair, the short haircut, and the shorter stature) looked more the part, but I liked the character better in Smallville. |

Ah..Superman: TAS. Ya know..Dana Delany would have made a good Lois in live action as well. Same with Clancy Brown as Lex
Going back to this, now that I think about it, the entire series was pretty epic in terms of voice talent: Brad Garret as Lobo Malcolm McDowell as Metallo Lori Petty as Live Wire Just off the top of my head. But WB had pretty well established that in their casting choices for Batman TAS. |

I thought Andre Braugher was a good Darkseid in the DC Comic move, "Superman/Batman: Apocalypse". He brought a sort of cold menacing intelligence to the character.

Not quite. The trick to facial recognition is looking beneath the surface, to the structure of the skull. I've actually reached a point where individual facial features look familiar. It drives me nuts when I see a face and can't figure out why it looks familiar, and then I realize that it is only one or two features. Kinda like I'm the only one that sees that my dad and Harrison Ford look alike from the nose up.
Not sure what the "not quite" part means, but I agree with everything else (other than that I've never seen your dad, so I can't say if he looks like Ford or not). I will see someone and be like "that guy looks kinda similar to Richard Armitage" (there's a guy that works at our DMV who looks kinda like Armitage), but nobody in my family sees it. That's just an example, there are plenty more like it. Everyone I know was fooled and they all argue with me even now that Portman and Knightly look exactly alike...which I disagree with. Going by Wikipedia Keira is 4" taller than Natalie so you pegged it close. She is tiny...which makes me wonder what they are going to do with her in Thor. In the comics when Jane was Thor her looks changed completely. She was taller (like an Asgardian) muscular and had long Blonde Hair. But I don't know if they are going to go that route in the film.
Portman and Knightly do look similar, but not exactly alike. I didn't even know Knightly was in Star Wars until a few years ago, but then again, I'm not a huge fan of Knightly. I know -_- Fortunately having the opinion that people are just naturally stupid isn't political.  I'm so sick and tired of all the political stuff on every social media page right now, having the "no politics" rule here has just been amazing the last few weeks for me. But I fully agree with this statement. |

Not quite, as in "not quite so easy." I'll if I can dig up a old photo. As they've aged they look far less similar, IMO. I went to college with Agent Smith and Legolas. The Agent Smith was more in the brow and mouth shape, and no I wasn't the first to make that distinction. The Legolas was more in the hair, which can easily be styled, but his face also had some similarity to Orlando's.
