This visual appearance of this saber is indeed stunning! I have a question about this saber as an Emerald saber. Will the Emerald driver control all three LEDs or just the main blade LED? If the Emerald driver will control all three LEDs, can each LED be configured to a different color or will all three LEDs be the same color?
cstoehr, as I was going thru the order process (just playing with what I'd decide) I thought about Emerald and decided if that was my option I'd go with AS for the left and right LEDs so I can change up the colour discs when I changed the Blade colour... Otherwise, I'm really thinking about the Dark LE version with SRD for all 3 LEDs... Fun thinking about it at the moment...  |

I would totally test drive the new saber if possible. Mine would have to be all Blazing Red with Sentinel Yellow FOC, in hilt re-charge, and all Ultra Edge Heavy Grade blades with the guard blades being at 8 inches and the all black hilt. I'll have to construct a new Sith uniform for this one

I was thinking Arctic Blue main with a silver crossguard... but I'd forgotten about the colour discs. Really, my gut instinct is to go Fire Orange... but I've got three orange 'sabres now, and really I should go for some variety  |

It would be the fourth out of 5 sabers that I had delivered in a Sith blade color. But in keeping with my plans for "Operation: Rainbow Arsenal", I decided to stick with my initial spec of CG w/ disconnects. And to satisfy my terminal impatience, I'm getting a separate MLS unit in BR. That way I don't have to wait to see the Archon in red until I buy a Malice. Word. |

But the simple answer is, no you can not use the Emerald driver to change the color of the two crossguard blades. The color you select in the listing is the color they will always be unless you change the LED.
I too had a question on varying the guard colors. Have you guys also eliminated the possible use of disconnects for any of the emitters? |

I noticed in the video that when you were exchanging the emitters that you accidentally started unscrewing part of the crossguard itself. Is that end MHS compatible as well? Say if someone only had two LEDs could they unscrew the LEDless part and plug the hole with something like a low profile pommel to prevent internal damage?

For an extremely long list of reasons, the Emerald Driver only controls the main blade. Powering 3 10W LEDs wouldn't leave you with any run time. As we have the saber made now the run time is almost unchanged. In addition the current draw with up to 12 high powered diodes on all at once would be epic, the Emerald driver could not handle that kind of current draw. There are quite a few other reasons as well.
But the simple answer is, no you can not use the Emerald driver to change the color of the two crossguard blades. The color you select in the listing is the color they will always be unless you change the LED.
Does this also apply to flash on clash? For example, if I were to order it with blazing red w/ silver FoC, would all three blades (all red) be equipped with FoC or just the main blade? |

JediXIX, I was thinking something similar, using silver for the cross bar blades without color disks though, and getting the four channel emerald for the main blade. The difficulty is deciding what cross bar blade colors would be compatible with different main blade colors. Arctic Blue might another widely compatible color for the cross bar blades. |

Do you (US) know how much you are going to charge for the two crossgaurd blades when they are actually in stock?. I really want one but I don't have the money right now  . When is the pre-order deadline? Sorry if I missed something on any of these questions. |
