Excellent choice of music there. It also makes a ton of difference having a dynamic camera shot. That is something I would love to start doing with my videos, rather than just have a static straight on view the whole time. Well done sir.

Most impressive. How long have you been doing this? Is this freestyle or choreographed? I would like to do the same type of movements and eventually be able to just let it flow. Any tips on where to start? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just overwhelmed at how much info there is here.

Hi Darth Silenoz,

thank you and welcome! I started spinning in january this year and had no experience before. The recording is freestyle. I practice each move by its own first and then I try to mix it spontaneously. I learned almost everything from the youtube tutorial series from Master Venturous and Darth Cephalus. These videos are very well done and fun to watch. Best advice I can give you (which I've also learned here  Wink) is: learn the basics first, practice very slow at the beginning (slow leads to smooth, smooth leads to fast), be patient the feeling for the saber will come after a while. You also find tons of information here in this forum and you can always ask everybody. Please forum members correct me and add important things I forgot to mention.
I hope this is a little help for you. Enjoy practice and mtfbwy!  Smiley

Hey, thanks. I had a feeling people would be helpful here. "Slow leads to smooth, smooth leads to fast." Words to live by.

Now that I've finally gotten some new batteries, I thought it appropriate to make a new video with these.

Man, That was just beautiful. I hope to be half that graceful one day. I think I'd rather do that than duel at this point. It looks so meditative.
Plus you don't have to wait to find an opponent. I was told to watch your tutorials by Matt Nihilus. I'm going to have to get on that. I am just scratching the surface of all these new styles everyone has, but that was like a dance. fantastic. Oh yeah, how long have you been doing this, and do you have any martial arts training? It looks to me like you do.

Sure seems like it so far. Thank you. I have a question for you. Can I call you FTBM? Full Time Beast Mode. Or is Sam alright? Smiley
