And they left out Suki. I'm mad about that. They skipped the whole Kyoshi Island and went straight to the Haru part, and did it poorly. I don't mind Haru, but I didn't like him nearly as much as Suki.

Yes...her name is Suki and she is leader of the Kyoshi Warriors....and elite group of female warriors began by one of the past Avatar's...who was also named Kyoshi. Of course the show is animated but they had a Sifu on staff that helped them get the movements as close as possible for the Martial Arts. i have seen the movie a few times are your referring to the animated one from nickelodeon ?
No...nononononononono. That movie is a horrible adaptation of the Animated show and I would advise you to strike it from your memory. Avatar:TLAB is wideliy considered to be one of the last great animated series (targeted at kids) because it dealt with very adult things in ways that were both easy for kids to grasp but not dumbed down to unrecognizability. Its smart writing, exciting action and beautiful visuals made it a favorite for Adults as well. If you have time this weekend I will encourage you to watch a few episodes. EDIT: then i shall do binge watching after super tonight

Haru was the boy whose dad was imprisoned (along with the rest of the earthbenders), and he was training his earthbending in secret. Something tells me you really liked Suki. Suki is one of my favorite characters. She's just plain awesome. And that's an amazing Cosplay. I'm also kinda okay that we just made Hesa watch A:TLA...  Seriously, you won't regret it. I was being careful not to binge it, and I finished the entire series in less than 2 weeks. |

I was answering the "I didn't like Haru as much as I did Suki" part..... But while she was Cut from the film...they did film a scene with the Kyoshi Warriors appearing. You should be able to pull it up on youtube. |
