Honestly, since Arrow ended, this has been the only CW show I've enjoyed. Flash wasn't bad, but it wasn't great.

Speaking of The Flash... what happened to it?  I thought I still had a couple episodes to watch from this year’s season, and *poof* it’s gone!  They didn’t record to my DVR, and the show isn’t even on the CW app.

A second season was confirmed on Netflix, but I'll be damned if I can find a source for an official release date.

Aye...it was.  Just enough real technique mixed in with fantasy.  Cavill is made for physical roles....even more it is accurate to Geralt's fighting style from the books.  

He definitely has a physical presence.

Filming was shut down due to pandemic, and so they decided to take the final three episodes and incorporate them into next season. Same with most the other Arrowverse shows (except Legends, that finished filming before they shut the world down). They also wont be back until January. But I'm content with Stargirl and SHIELD right now. Don't hardly have time to watch TV as it is, so a lighter load is acceptable.

Nothing happened to it, as far as I know.  It did have to end its season early, like a lot of shows did, due to the Covid outbreak.  From what I understand, The Flash still had some episodes that it had to film to complete their season, but were unable to do so due to all the restrictions.  So, the season just ended not where it particularly wanted to.

Other than that, I don't know what they're going to do about the next season's filming.  I have heard that some companies are going to enforce a constant testing of either a week or two to make sure none of the actors either have Covid or contract it during filming.  While I don't watch it because the season of it is pretty bad, one of the lead actors for a show contracted Covid and they had to shut down filming, sterilize the entire of the sets that they were filming on and clothing the actor wore (just to be safe), and they are doing the thing I mentioned with the testing to make sure none of the others come down with it.

This whole thing has made filming for shows a real mess.

Since this is a totally different thing than the response, I sort of felt justified making a different post.

I'm heavily debating on whether or not to get another saber while the sale is still on.  I have one more saber (currently) that I want to get and I know it's going to take a hell of a lot longer to get it, especially the way I want to get it.  I just don't know at the moment, because money is a little tight right now and I am waiting on some information to see if I am still going to get some money from certain things.  But, I really want this saber to join my small family.

Guess I'll just keep thinking about for the moment.

Hmm... how to word this so it doesn't sound like an argument? I did say that "I know you didn't care for MoS", not that you didn't like Cavill as Superman. I've seen you say (at least once, maybe more), that he has the potential to be a better Superman than Reeve. My comment was specifically about how amazing he is for the role of Superman. Did you happen to see his conversation with Patrick Stewart where he talked about being Superman, and wanting to continue?

I misinterpreted your comment then.  Now, I don't think he could be better than Reeve...that's impossible imo.  But yes I do think he would make a good Superman....Brandon Routh actually does good as well but just like Cavill he wasn't given a good story.  Did you catch the Arrowverse Crisis on Infiite Earths?  Brandon Routh was basically Reeve's superman mixed with Kingdom Come Superman and nailed it.   I have not seen that interview...I'll have to look it up.

Brandon's Superman was one of the best parts of Crisis for sure. I will say, when you compare Reeve, Routh and Cavill, they all look very similar to each other. Kind of interesting.

I read somewhere that in Routh’s case, at least, that was a deliberate effort on Routh’s part, to pay homage to Reeve as well as to make the audience recognize the “line of succession,” if you will (my term, not his).

Superman Returns was supposed to be the continuation of Reeve's Superman (ignoring III and IV)...why they used the John Williams Theme.  One thing to consider is Reeve was so Iconic in the role from the beginning they altered the comics to closer resemble Reeve...much like they have done for the Marvel Comics now and Blade.  So now if they cast someone to look like Superman..they can't help but resemble Reeve.

Yes, and Routh paid particular attention to the way Reeve behaved as both Clark Kent and as Kal-El, and tried to mimic those behaviors, too.  I think it paid off.

I think so to.  Like I said, it was the plot, writing etc. that made Superman Returns not as good as it could have been.   Here's a question..... Ranking Supermen has been done (and Reeve as far as I've seen always dominates)...but what about Lois.  My opinion is a bit odd....because as much as I will always put Reeve at the top...Margot Kidder isn't my top Lois.  That goes to Teri Hatcher from Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.  So...Opinions.  Who's the best Lois.
