Not a saber pic this time but rather a saber sling used for walking around at cons. Seems very similar to what they sell at Galaxy's Edge but mine came first!
All it is is 3 yards of your choice of upholstery fabric (makes 2 slings) , a 1inchx12inch square of chair foam and a length of 1 inch pipe insulation from Lowes. Your choice of color for webbing and hardware. Cost abt $25 to make 2.

Solstice definitely needs a Sun Rider's Destiny saber  I totally recommend a Sentinel V4 if you don't already have one yet. If not then a Manticore? |

Been down sick the last few days so worked on some customization of my standard issue battle saber. First pic is just of some painting of the rings and the others are a little etching I did to fancy it up a bit. Hope yall like it.

A 6 volt battery, 2 sets of alligator clips and some super saturated salt water & vinegar mixture.
I'd been using an trickle charger for my power source but it died....went to get another one and all they sell now are "smart" chargers and this doesn't work w/ ones w/ safety features.
So the 6 volt took awhile longer and it's not quite as deep but it turned out fairly well, I think. Give it a shot...quite easy and great way to make it "your's."
Here's a bit better of a picture for you. I got my doubled bladed staff in and did both of them up the same.

You would think that with this being a Marine Corps town, pawn shops would be abundant. There's still a few around but nothing like it used to be. I got tired of looking and just ordered a benchtop power supply off Amazon. TY for the suggestion though! |

So it's an empty hilt or you gutted out the electronics quick? I want to etch some of mine bad. But don't want to mess with taking out and putting back in the electronics. I bought a hand held Etcher and been practicing with that. But going to be time consuming to do on a saber. |
