Yeah the Apprentice is solid. But I feel like that was kind of the minimalist outlier, compared to the Initiate and Aeon/Dominix it's a lot more simplistic aesthetic-wise. I just wish the whole line was a combination of the two lol

The Apprentice and Initiate hilts make great single-handed sabers and Shotos. But I agree it would be nice to see a "premium" hilt geared to one hand. ON the other hand, I can see the primary problem with that: internal space. Everyone's going to want it to have Emerald and Obsidian or Diamond controllers available, with the associated power packs. Those take space, which argues against a small hilt. What I'd like to see is something done with the whole carbon-fiber or composite world. I remember Ultra talking about it a while back... Something with a black or dark gray "core" with metal shroud pieces overlaid. |

The Monarch is only 11" long, one of the smaller hilts they offer, outside of the Initiate and Apprentice sabers... when compared to a Reaper or Mantis, though, it's tiny. But I do agree, more 1-handed sabers would be nice |
