Now I'm sure you could find someone like Drahcir that would be able to modify a shroud for you. Also, it's a replica saber, so most aren't going to want anything that differs from what Qui Gon has.
I thought the Consular's shroud was just solid metal. Does it actually have a cutout pattern on the back? |

No it doesn't. The cut-out is the profile on the side of the shroud. The only other machining is the hole for the Covertec on the back. The other guys have oblong slots cut into the back of the shroud of their Qui Gon hilt. |
